Primary Core Responsibilities

  • Communicates effectively with other customers, builders and team members
  • Reading blue print plans
  • Take off completion
  • Product order placement
  • Costing of orders
  • Keeps abreast with all relative computer application, forms and spreadsheets
  • Completes all other assigned duties and responsibilities

Qualifications & Skills

  • High school education or equivalent is required. Continuing trades education is desired.
  • Minimum two years’ experience in trades, windows, millwork or finish carpentry
  • General construction knowledge

  • Microsoft office programs

With the construction industry running full-steam ahead, we are looking for new and replacement window installers. Ideal applicants must:

  • Age 18 or older
  • Enjoy working outdoors
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Dependable
  • Work well with others
  • Comfortable working on ladders up to 30 ft. high

An 80 lb. lift test and drug test will be administered for hire. Qualified candidates will be contacted to schedule an in-person interview.

The primary function of a Warehouse Worker/Delivery Driver will be to receive/unload product from vendor trucks, load the delivery truck for daily deliveries, and deliver products to customers.

Ideal applicants must:

  • Have great work ethic and attention to detail
  • Be able to report to work on time for your scheduled start time
  • Be comfortable with directions/map reading
  • Follow established safety rules and regulations and maintain a safe and clean environment
  • Maintain a professional, positive attitude
  • Be comfortable using a pallet jack forklift
  • Be able to become forklift certified
  • Be able to work outside and in all weather conditions when needed
  • Willing to go through certification training when necessary

Work Environment

This job operates in an inside and outside environment year round. This role routinely uses pallet jacks, forklifts, etc.

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the associate is required to have ordinary ambulatory skills sufficient to visit other locations; and the ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and manipulate (lift, carry/move) weights of 5 – 500 lbs. Requires good hand-eye coordination, arm, hand and finger dexterity, including ability to grasp, and visual acuity to operate equipment and read application information. The associate frequently is required to sit, reach, with hands and arms, talk, and hear.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are typically Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to job completion. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

Travel

Travel is required throughout the business day for deliveries and both local and out-of-the area travel is normal.

Additional Eligibility Qualifications

  • Valid Wisconsin Driver’s License
  • Forklift certification

This person will be responsible for working with the architectural community in Milwaukee and the surrounding area, providing expertise on fenestration solutions. You will help architects and spec-writers shape their basis of design for commercial projects primarily in the greater Milwaukee five-county area.

Ideal applicants must:

  • Be able to work in advanced sales at a professional organization
  • Have a basic understanding of building construction and materials procurement processes – specifically regarding the building envelope
  • Possess excellent organization, communication, and presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently but also on a team
  • Fundamental computer software skills and the ability to learn window estimating software and read CAD
  • Window knowledge is helpful, but not required
  • Willingness and eagerness to reach out to the architectural community with fenestration solutions

Compensation:

  • Above-industry standard salary – based on experience

  • Possess some commercial construction background and industry knowledge, particularly in window and door installation
  • Be able to work in a professional organization
  • Possess excellent presentation, organization, and communications skills
  • Fundamental computer software skills
  • Willingness and eagerness to see commercial projects through from start to finish
